Pomâlo's grey Brač stone building dates back to 1810, and still retains a lot of its original charm. Vis town was built by Venetians, but the island has an even longer history, having been inhabited by the Greeks as early as 400 BC. It's a wine growing region, scattered with coastal fishing villages, and was isolated for almost 50 years. Open to the public only since the 1990's, it is the Dalmatia you have dreamt of finding.

The Pomâlo team offers a concierge service, with local knowledge, and are fluent in English, as well as Croatian!

Indulge in bespoke, 300 thread-count sheets with a Dalmatian lace trim, fresh down pillows, organic waffle weave cotton throws, and organic local bath products that smell and feel amazing – just like the island itself!
Whilst the hotel does not currently have an in-house restaurant, Dalmatia’s top speciality coffee shop is housed within the building! Kava provides delicious breakfasts in the mornings, exquisite coffee all day, and cocktails in the hotel’s lounge and plaza at night. There are also an abundance of small family-owned restaurants all within a short stroll away.
