Café Murano, One of the Best Places to Eat In London

Our Hotlist

What a delight it was to stumble across the newly-opened Café Murano; even more of a delight when we realised they had 50% off for their soft-opening!

Café Murano is Angela Hartnett’s third Italian restaurant of the same name and we’re delighted that she’s chosen Bermondsey as its hub, her first venture south of the river. Having risen to culinary fame as Gordon Ramsay’s protégé, her Bermondsey edition features an open kitchen, an intimate ambience and a menu that does justice to the classics, featuring Chicken Milanese and Osso Bucco Risotto, whilst also offering a playful selection of new dishes. We decided to go for the delicious Linguine, Cuttlefish, Cockles & Brown Shrimp which was a delightfully refreshing experience for the palate with good-size cuts of succulent fish melded with a rich sauce and linguine cooked to Italian-standard perfection. Adding to Bermondsey Street’s already impressive selection of discreet haunts, Cafe Murano is certainly the cherry on top of the cake.
