Nordic flavours rule the land. With 37 Michelin star restaurants, the fine dining scene is very much thriving. Anyone who is a fan of Netflix Chef's Table will recognize Fäviken a restaurant where you will never eat the same thing twice. There is also the fika – a coffee break with cookies and national favourite cinnamon buns, Fika is a social institution and an important part of the national culture. You can ‘fika’ with your family or on your first date.

Feels

Being a prehistoric country and one of the oldest settlements of humans in history, Sweden has a long rich heritage which they are proud of. With alcohol being state-owned and not readily available you will probably need to stock up at the airport. The best word we can use to describe Sweden is Lagom (pronounced lar-gohm), a Swedish word meaning just the right amount. It’s also widely translated as in moderation, in balance and perfect-simple Sweden.
