Tastes

Succulent, acorn fed Iberian pork; spicy chorizo; salty manchego cheese; the incredible range of fish that can be found in coastal regions like Andalucía, the deep-fried white-bait are especially good; Galician ‘pulpo’, which is a spicy octopus; ‘calamar’ (squid), done deep fried or grilled; the vast range of tapas, small dishes that come with drinks and will make your mouth water; deep red rioja, whose fruity taste goes well with almost any meal; bitter sweet freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast; and of course paella, the saffron infused seafood dish, which comes with mussels, prawns and pretty much everything else. Spain has a huge number of Michelin Star restaurants serving, an immense range of different food, foremost of these is the ‘celler can roca’, in Girona, which has twice been voted the best restaurant in the entire world.
